BASIC TRAINING:
Basic training is provided for the following vocational careers: Industrial Mechanic, Precision Mechanic, Electrician for Production Engineering, Materials Tester, and Technical Product Designer. The basic training takes place on the campus of Berufsbildungszentrum der Industrie (BZI), our training partner. The duration of the basic training varies for each career track and lasts from six months to one year. BZI has a diverse stock of machinery, modern equipment in its training laboratories, and highly trained vocational training staff. Here you’ll receive a gentle introduction to real-world applications and will learn the basics of metalworking or electrical engineering.
ADVANCED COURSES AND EXAM PREPARATION:
In addition to the basic training, advanced courses – including CNC, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC, VDE [Association of German Electrical Engineers], and welding – will be taught at BZI. You will attend these courses during the basic training as well as during the practical part of the training. You will also receive practical training at BZI to ensure you’re optimally prepared for parts 1 + 2 of the final exam. The theoretical counterpart will be taught at Berufskolleg Hückeswagen.

- Maintenance
- Quality assurance
- Hardening shop
- Production (conventional and CNC-controlled)
- Bevel gear tooth systems

You’re interested in technical subjects, perhaps you have already demonstrated your craftsmanship skills in your free time or during an internship, and you may even already have a knack for solving technical/mathematical problems, as evidenced by a high grade-point average at school in math and/or physics. If so, you already fit the bill for many of the requirements you’ll need to successfully complete your training at our company.
But there are a few other things you’ll need to have, and these can’t be measured as easily by your grades. For instance, an enthusiasm for the new and unknown, or the desire to move things forward as part of a team, or the drive to take on greater responsibility for yourself, and perhaps even for others.
If these qualities describe you, then you're a perfect candidate for Klingelnberg. By submitting your application, you’ll be laying the foundation with us for a professional career that’s full of opportunity!
