DEVELOPING NEW TALENTS AT KLINGELNBERG
With every start of our training programs, we offer a limited number of dual study and part-time study places to suitable candidates.
COOPERATIVE ENGINEER TRAINING (KIA)
Complete a recognized professional training program as an industrial mechanic or electrician for production engineering and combine your training with one of the following Bachelor degree programs:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
Degree upon completion: Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng.)
Length of study: shortened training period with parallel degree program lasting four-and-a-half years in total

DUAL DEGREE PROGRAMS
We offer additional dual degree programs in various disciplines as needed:
- General Computer Science
Degree upon completion: Bachelor of Science
Length of study: four years

PART-TIME DEGREE PROGRAMS
Students can complete the following degree program at Klingelnberg while continuing to work:
- Business Administration
Degree upon completion: Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration
Length of study: three-and-a-half years

The part-time degree programs allow employees to earn a degree and develop their skills on an individual basis as part of their continuing vocational training.

PREPARATORY AND PROFESSIONAL INTERNSHIPS FOR ENGINEERING DEGREE PROGRAMS
Every year, we offer placements for preparatory or part-time internships in the following fields of study:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mechatronics
- Electrical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Business Administration
- Computer Engineering
- Materials Engineering/Science/Testing
Planning this type of internship requires advance notice. Please submit your application early (at least three months before starting the internship).
To complete a preparatory internship, you must hold a (Fach-)Abitur secondary school leaving certificate with a good or very good grade point average and a focus in mathematics or natural sciences.
To complete a professional internship, you must have good examination results; please submit a transcript of your exam results as proof.

ACADEMIC THESES
We also offer students the opportunity to complete (topic-specific) practice-oriented academic final theses (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or doctoral theses) in engineering or business.
