As a company, Klingelnberg knows only too well how important a good school education is. After all, it’s the students of today who will become the apprentices of tomorrow. And a good school education also includes the proper basic supply of appropriate teaching materials. To ensure that the students at the Montanus School in Hückeswagen receive a first-class education, Klingelnberg’s executive management has decided to help with the purchase of experiment kits for the physics classes.
The principal of Montanus School, Klaus Kruska, thanked the town of Hückeswagen and Klingelnberg for their generous support and invited everyone to a demonstration of the new experiment kits after school on 17 November 2023. Six students proudly showed off their newly acquired physics skills to Michael Schwarzer, Head of Human Resources at Klingelnberg, and Dietmar Persian, Mayor of the town of Hückeswagen, among others.
The physics teacher responsible, Dagmar Schlottmann, was also very pleased with the donation: “A hands-on approach is enormously important in order to better understand the subject matter. We are therefore delighted with the donation that Klingelnberg, the town of Hückeswagen, and other companies have provided to finance the physics equipment.” Mr. Schwarzer also urged the highly motivated students to apply for an apprenticeship at Klingelnberg or simply to try out an internship at a company with global operations. The students gladly accepted the HR manager’s business card.
Christoph Küster, Chief Financial Officer at Klingelnberg, again noted: “As the largest employer in the town of Hückeswagen, it is important for us to support the town – and therefore the schools.” “We were therefore very happy to comply with the request of the mayor, Dietmar Persian, to provide monetary support for the purchase of experiment kits for the Hückeswagen school. Learning can be fun, and it should be. We want all the students – and also the teachers – to have a great time with the new learning materials.”
