Under the GEAR Seminar brand, machine manufacturer Klingelnberg is establishing its own international seminar series. Trade events will soon be organized for Klingelnberg customers at varying locations around the world. In the start-up year 2016, Klingelnberg will concentrate its efforts on the Asian growth market. Accordingly, other stations will be Korea and China. But industry experts will also come together in the U.S., together with the WZL Gear Conference to be held this year in Ann Arbor, Michigan, among others.
With trade events provided free of charge under the GEAR Seminar brand, Klingelnberg will offer knowledge forums covering all aspects of gearing technology. In the seminars, typically two-day events, Klingelnberg experts will keep their customers abreast of current technologies and innovations in bevel gear technology, cylindrical gear technology and gear measuring technology. A high-caliber line-up is guaranteed: presenters will include the head of the respective specialist departments at Klingelnberg. An evening meal at these seminars will always provide opportunities for discussions and exchanges in a relaxed atmosphere.
"Last year we held seminars in selected national markets in cooperation with partners from the gearing industry; now we are conducting the seminars under our own name," says a delighted Dr. Hartmuth Müller, Chief Technical Officer at Klingelnberg, who is also in charge of organizing the seminars. The first GEAR Seminar will take place in Nagoya, Japan. This will be followed by an event in Seoul, Korea, and two dates in the Chinese cities of Nanjing and Chongqing.
The GEAR Seminar in the U.S. will be organized by the American subsidiary, KLINGELNBERG America, Inc., and will take place in Ann Arbor on June 27 and June 29, 2016.
This year Klingelnberg will also host the sixth WZL Gear Conference in the U.S. During this one-day event on June 28, 2016, the Laboratory for Machine Tools and
Production Engineering (WZL) at RWTH Aachen University will present the latest research results and developments in the gear industry.
