BASIC KNOWLEDGE IN A NUTSHELL: NEW TECHNOLOGY GUIDEBOOK RELEASED WITH SUPPORT FROM KLINGELNBERG

The new work in the "Die Bibliothek der Technik" (Library of technology) series from publisher Süddeutscher Verlag onpact GmbH titled "Kegelradmaschinen" (Bevel gear machines) was released in November 2013 with technical support from and in coordination with the Klingelnberg Group.

Dr. Hartmuth Müller, CTO of the Klingelnberg Group and author of the book, vividly describes the concept of the new generation of bevel gear machines and their implementation in cutting and grinding machines. Particular emphasis is placed on basic theoretical knowledge relating to gearing technology, implementation of the design, automation concepts, measuring technology integrated into the machine and aspects of energy efficiency.

The 72 page book contains a total of 39 detailed illustrations and significant relevance for real-world applications. It conveys basic knowledge and appeals chiefly to design engineers in mechanical engineering and vehicle manufacturing, users in the bevel gear production industry and mechanical engineering students. This is Süddeutscher Verlag onpact GmbH's 360th work released as part of the "Die Bibliothek der Technik" (Library of technology) series under the ISBN 978-3-86236-063-5.
