On 06 March, 2025, mechanical engineering company KLINGELNBERG hosted an entrepreneurial get-together in the production hall opened in late 2022 on Gustav-Adolf-Klingelnberg-Strasse 1, Hückeswagen-Winterhagen. This exclusive networking event was attended by more than 30 participants from 20 local companies.

The event was opened by Michael Schwarzer, Director of Human Resources, with the support of the mayor of Hückeswagen, Dietmar Persian. In his welcoming speech, the mayor emphasized the importance of such networking events for the local economy and for the innovative power of the region.

During the meeting, Holger Stoffel, Head of Training, presented the company’s innovative training program. Particularly impressive were the reports of the Klingelnberg trainees on the project “ROCKID.one e.V. – Trainees at Schools,” which aims to spark students’ interest early on in practical digital and media topics. Dr. Gerd Kotthoff, Director of the Gear Manufacturing Machine product line, then took the guests on a tour of the world of innovative gear technology themed “Precision meets the future.” The presentation provided insights into the advanced technologies and processes Klingelnberg uses to manufacture modern drive solutions. These insights were followed by a tour of the production halls featuring highly specialized machines. 

The afternoon concluded with a networking get-together where attendees were able to share ideas and network in a relaxed atmosphere. The event provided an excellent platform for entrepreneurs from the region to network and promote cooperation.
