The latest issue of GEARS inline showcases forward-thinking solutions from KLINGELNBERG

In the twelfth and latest edition of GEARS inline, KLINGELNBERG once again presents an array of exciting innovations. A key topic is the digital product “SMART FACTORY,” which was developed to meet the specific needs of contract manufacturers. This solution allows for the efficient planning, monitoring, and evaluation of manufacturing processes at critical business facilities. Through its unique integration of tools, workpieces, and accessories, Smart Factory demonstrates Klingelnberg’s deep understanding of the challenges on the shop floor.

Another highlight in this issue is the introduction of ROTEC Munich GmbH, the newest member of the KLINGELNBERG family. ROTEC solutions are used in critical applications, including marine, motorsport, aerospace, and turbine systems, and provide crucial added value, particularly in the torsional vibration analysis of wind turbine gearboxes.
KLINGELNBERG is setting new standards in manufacturing technology. Its innovative approach to grinding noise-optimized spiral bevel gears on Oerlikon bevel gear grinding machines, and its optimized, standardized design of internal grinding arms in cylindrical gear technology, maximize customer benefits.

The company also presents highlights in metrology. The latest developments in optical profile measurement and waviness evaluation significantly boost productivity and offer customers real added value. Real-life examples demonstrate the power of KLINGELNBERG solutions. Ernst Schad GmbH is setting new standards with the P 200 precision measuring center, and Hofmann Engineering operates one of the largest and most accurate cylindrical gear grinding machines with a double column machine design, the RAPID 6300 XL AIR.

A look at the company’s global organization highlights its international character. This year, the focus is on KLINGELNBERG ITALIANA—located in a country rich in history, culture, culinary delights, and advanced technology. This international engagement is complemented by a wide range of bevel gear technology courses. At the Seminar Center in Zurich, Switzerland, KLINGELNBERG application engineers have been directly sharing their practical knowledge with customers for over 20 years. Training instructors also offer tailor-made programs directly on-site at customers’ companies.
